The IHL Review

Independent Journal of International Humanitarian Law and Armed Conflict

About The IHL Review

The IHL Review is an independent, student-led publication dedicated to international humanitarian law and the law of armed conflict. Rooted in the belief that every human life has inherent dignity, we seek to promote a deeper understanding of the legal principles designed to protect people during armed conflict through balanced, evidence-based legal analysis.

We are not affiliated with or representative of any government, political party, military, international organisation, or advocacy group. Our publication is politically independent and committed to impartiality, intellectual honesty, and respect for international law. Our purpose is not to defend or condemn any nation or actor, but to examine armed conflict through the lens of law, with humanity at its core.
